Gentle Equine Bodywork for Balance, Comfort and Wellbeing
Wild Heart Equine Bodywork provides gentle, horse-led equine bodywork for horses across Port Macquarie, Kempsey, and the wider Mid North Coast. Her work focuses on releasing tension, improving balance and gait, and supporting each horse’s long-term wellbeing through calm, responsive hands-on care.
Every horse communicates through posture, movement, and subtle changes in their body. Michelle works slowly and intentionally, listening through touch and response rather than forcing change. Sessions are unhurried and tailored to the individual horse, allowing space for genuine relaxation, release, and comfort.
Michelle has completed the EQ100 – Equine Bodywork course through Equinology Australia, providing a strong foundation in equine anatomy, biomechanics, posture and gait observation, and ethical bodywork practice. This training guides how she assesses and works with horses, always within scope and with respect for both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Equine bodywork can support performance horses, pleasure horses, ageing horses, and those experiencing physical or emotional stress. Michelle’s approach complements good management and veterinary care, helping horses move more freely, feel more settled, and maintain comfort over time.
Her priority is never quick fixes, but thoughtful, consistent care that supports the horse well beyond a single session.
